About the Webinar Series
As student homelessness continues to rise, the Title I, Part A homeless set-aside is one of the most powerful, yet often underused resources available to districts for meeting their educational support needs.
From January – March, 2026, SchoolHouse Connection hosted this multi-part webinar series, bringing together liaisons, budget leaders, and district administrators to equip attendees with practical strategies to strengthen and fully utilize the Title I, Part A homeless set aside. Each session featured real examples from districts, tools to support planning and reporting, and opportunities to problem-solve common challenges.
By the end of the series, attendees are prepared to confidently increase, manage, and maximize their set-aside to improve outcomes for students experiencing homelessness.
All webinars in the series were led by SchoolHouse Connection’s Karen Rice, Senior Manager of Education Initiatives, and Anasofia Trelles, K-12 Senior Manager.
