Three-Pager: Providing Emergency Motel/Hotel Stays with ARP-HCY Funds

According to a recent liaison survey and report from SchoolHouse Connection, housing remains one of the biggest unmet needs for students and families experiencing homelessness. American Rescue Plan-Homeless Children and Youth (ARP-HCY) funds uniquely name short-term, emergency housing as an allowable use, providing students with temporary stability to access their education. During this webinar, participants will learn how local education agencies (LEAs) are using funds to place families in hotels and motels, including how partnerships were created and the process to utilize funds to meet this need.
