About the Webinar
Every day, homeless education professionals show up for students and families navigating some of life’s most difficult circumstances. While this work is deeply meaningful, it can also be emotionally challenging, complex, and sometimes exhausting.
SchoolHouse Connection invites liaisons, state coordinators, and others supporting students experiencing homelessness to start the year with renewed commitment and new strategies for coping with the demands of your position.
Drawing from both research and lived practitioner experience, this session addresses the realities of serving and supporting students experiencing homelessness while remaining grounded in purpose, upholding the law, and navigating an ever-changing environment.
Participants gain practical tools for managing emotional fatigue while staying centered, effective, and empowered. Ultimately, the session supports professionals in finding renewed hope, balance, and connection to community as sustainable sources of motivation in the work.
