Date & Time Recorded: June 18, 2025 (3-4 PM Eastern)
Two major budget proposals are making their way through Congress in June and July 2025 – and both would dramatically reduce or eliminate support for children, youth, and families experiencing homelessness.
This webinar provides the latest information on:
1) FY2026 funding for discretionary programs, including the Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program, the Runaway and Homeless Youth Act program, and other federal programs.
2) The budget reconciliation bill, which would significantly cut Medicaid, food assistance, and higher education funding.
We provide updates on the status and outlook for these bills, as well as examples of effective education and advocacy. This webinar is co-hosted with National Network for Youth.
