Nasir Young

Board Member

Nasir Young is a Senior Associate for Community Engagement at JPMorgan Chase, where he supports the firm’s corporate responsibility efforts across the Eastern Seaboard through strategic initiatives, philanthropic investments, and community-centered engagement. His work focuses on strengthening partnerships, advancing inclusive community programs, and aligning institutional resources with local needs.

Prior to JPMorgan Chase, Nasir held roles in both New York City and Washington, D.C. government, where he led public engagement and communications strategies for large-scale initiatives in collaboration with public agencies and private-sector partners. Earlier in his career, he worked in the media and entertainment industry with organizations including Revelations Entertainment, Creative Artists Agency, and the NAACP Image Awards.

A graduate of the University of Vermont, Nasir is deeply committed to advocacy and community service. He has volunteered with Whitman-Walker Health and the Bronx Council on the Arts, and has served on advisory bodies including the Bronx Borough President’s LGBTQ+ Task Force and the NYC Department of Health TGNCNB Advisory Council. He is an alumnus of both the New Leaders Council and the Council of Urban Professionals fellowships. A passionate supporter of the arts, Nasir enjoys visiting museums and galleries that celebrate the work of underrepresented artists.
