Leconte Lee is the Senior Director of Communications and Marketing at SchoolHouse Connection. He is drawn to the mission because his own parents worked incredibly hard and made real sacrifices to put him through college, and he wants to give back to families facing similar struggles.
Originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Leconte brings a global perspective and a marketing career spanning hospitality, education, and nonprofit work. He earned his Bachelor’s in Advertising & Public Relations from Hawaii Pacific University, then began his career in account management at a boutique public relations firm in New York City. He later completed his MBA in Marketing in Charlotte, North Carolina, before returning to Hawaii to lead marketing for Outrigger Hotels & Resorts across 32 local and international properties. He also served as Director of Family Retention and Recruitment at Tulsa Public Schools, where he oversaw a $2.5 million grant to retain, recruit, and re-engage families to the district.
Leconte lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
