Camila Lugo is a Program Manager with the Youth Leadership and Scholarship (YLS) team at SchoolHouse Connection, where she supports scholars as they navigate their postsecondary journeys and works to expand educational opportunities for students experiencing homelessness.
Camila earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education Studies and Psychology from The Catholic University of America and a Master of Science in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to joining SchoolHouse Connection, Camila spent eight years working in education, including six years as a school counselor. She specialized in college and career readiness, helping students overcome barriers to educational success.
Drawing on her background in counseling and education, Camila builds meaningful relationships with students and works to ensure they have the resources and support needed to thrive in college and beyond.
